Qualcomm and Transsion Reach Long-Term Patent License Agreement, Valid Through End of 2031

Qualcomm has announced that it has renewed a long-term global patent license agreement with Transsion Holdings, covering 4G and 5G mobile devices and extending through the end of 2031. John Han, Executive Vice President and General Manager of Qualcomm Technology Licensing (QTL), said the renewal was reached ahead of schedule and consolidates the existing 4G and 5G agreements into a single long-term arrangement.
